The ring is threaded onto the loop of the lock, then the lock is snapped shut, whereupon the whole affair is covered by a handkerchief. A spectator is asked to take hold of his ring through the handkerchief, such that he is certain it is safe.
The magician introduces his own finger ring, whereupon it changes instantly into the spectator's ring! The spectator lifts the handkerchief, showing that now, locked securely onto the padlock, is the magician's finger ring!

In this version, adapted by Solyl Kundu from an idea by Walter Gibson, the complete action of the drawer is under your full control at all times. You can make it rise or go back into the box, as slowly or fast as you wish, and as often as you wish.

In a loud clear voice the first spectator is asked to name his card. It is the ten of spades. Which means that your prediction should be the five of spades. Open the envelope and remove a giant (7" x 11") five of spades.
Turn to the second spectator and ask him to name his card - to everyone's shock he yells out the seven of clubs. This always gets a huge laugh since there is no such card as the fourteen of clubs. Drop Out is a classic pocket item, easy to perform, and highly puzzling to the un-initiated.
The performer displays a small bottle with a hole on one side. A steel ball is placed in the hole, and the bottle inverted. Whenever the magician does this, the ball does not drop out of the hole, defying the laws of gravity. Whenever a spectator tries, it drops out.
We supply you two bottles and steel balls in each set, so you can do a Do As I Do routine, having the spectator use one bottle and you use the other. The ball in your bottle stays suspended, and the one in the spectator's bottle always falls out. Exchange bottles and repeat this as often as you like. Drop Out No Drop Out comes to you complete with the two bottles and balls, and full working instructions. Carry it in your pocket and use any time, any place.
Magician tries to draw something using the Bullet tip, but only finds out that the Bullet tip has also dried out. Strangely enough, magician says, "The both tips are not usable. You show a salt shaker. If you want you can pour a bit of real salt into a spectator hand. Now you pour all the salt into your fist and without any sleight the salt vanishes.
