Maxello Magic

The Milk Mug is one of the most useful magic props for use with liquid tricks. It allows you to visibly pour liquid out of the mug, and vanish it. The apparatus we supply resembles a large coffee mug made of clear plastic, and comes with ideas for different routines.

The classic presentation involves showing a sheet of newspaper clearly front and back. This is rolled into the cone, and a mug full of milk apparently poured into the cone. You make a tossing motion towards the audience with the cone, and the liquid has vanished. The paper sheet is unrolled, shown on both sides, then balled up and tossed into the audience for them to examine if they wish.

A variation of the above would be to have white colored confetti fly out in place of the milk when you toss the contents of the cone at the audience.

A more elaborate presentation can be performed around a theme of Brain Washing. You call up a volunteer, and state it appears he requires to be brain washed because he has a dirty mind. If he protests, you can ask him when was the last time he washed his mind. He will probably say never, and you comment that anything which has never been washed must be dirty!

The basic theme has ample scope for humorous patter. You now introduce your brain washing paraphernalia which is on a tray, covered by large napkin on your table. The napkin is removed and tucked around his neck like a bib. You next display a pair of flexible opaque plastic pipes. In one of these at one end is fixed a plastic funnel. The other paraphernalia comprises of a mug of soap water (actually the Milk Mug with a dilute milk solution) and an empty can. The empty can is in fact a Foo Can. Spectator is asked to hold the pipes to his ears. You pour the soap water into one ear via the funnel. Now have him release the pipe in that ear. Have the spectator nod his head around as if swirling the soap water in his head to thoroughly rinse out his brain. Now have him tilt his head to the opposite side as if draining out all the water through the pipe in the other ear into the can. Finally pick up the can and pour out the liquid into a transparent container.
