Butterfly Puzzle

Performer displays two boomerang shaped pieces, one with a green caterpillar, and one with a red one. The piece with the caterpillar at the bottom is obviously longer, but the performer says they are for ever growing longer. When the shorter caterpillar on top is stretched and transferred below the longer one, it now appears longer ! This is repeated as often as you like. Then you turn the pieces over, and there is a very beautiful butterfly formed with the two pieces, and every one can see both pieces are now exactly the same size.

The Hook Balance Gimmick works on a clever application of the basic laws of gravity. If you try to balance the hook supplied on the tip of your finger or any other place by the pointed end, the hook naturally topples over, and can not be balanced. However, if you take an ordinary belt, fold it in half and sling it over the round part of the hook you can easily balance this hook where ever you please. You can balance it on the tip of your finger or the tip of your nose, or the edge of a table, with a non slippery surface, so that the hook does not slip off.

Repeat Square Puzzle

This is a novel puzzle. You hand over four cut out pieces to a spectator to form into a perfect square. This is relatively easy, and the spectator will form the square with a few attempts. As an after thought you hand him another piece, a small square. Now ask him to form a perfect square using all five pieces. This will prove much more difficult, till you demonstrate how easy it is.

Scissors Escape Puzzle

This is a topological release puzzle like the Buttonhole Loop Puzzle, described in many of the classic text books of magic. In effect a scissors is threaded on to a cord by the holes in the handle. The ends of the cord are held, and a spectator invited to release the scissors from the cord. Seems impossible to do, until you know the exact method. The item can be performed with any scissors and any cord. However, we supply it to you complete with an attractive pair of scissors which you can easily carry in your pocket, and a coloured cord, along with full working instructions.

Spring Puzzle (Chrome Plated) by Premium Magic

The magician displays a ring on a spring which is closed in at the ends. A spectator is invited to try and get the ring off the spring, but cannot do so. The magician simply blows on the spring, and shakes it, and the ring falls off the spring.
