The Appearing Cane is in fact a high quality steel spring coil attached to a ferrule with a locking arrangement. When released it opens out into the shape of a cane, over three feet in length. The effect is visual, the magician reaches into the air and a solid cane over three feet long just pops into his hand. Alternatively, a silk is shown and as the performer waves it, it suddenly and visibly changes to a full size elegant cane. This model is the traditional one for the performer in traditional attire.

The magician displays a fold flat decorated tube with three large holes on two sides. The tube can be very freely displayed, then three large silks are passed through the holes in the sides. The tube is turned to display the silks fill the entire inside of the tube. A large lit candle (which could also be examined) is now passed through the tube. It seems impossible this can go through without burning the silks. Yet when the silks are removed, they are found to be totally unharmed. This works differently to the usual penetration effects, and you will like the simple mechanism that makes the effect possible.

We supply you the special decorated laminated tube, complete with the three large silks, and full working instructions. You can use any long candle (fancy or plain), as there is nothing tricky about this.

A cane in the magician's hand transforms into a beautiful featherstick.

Props included is a Vanshing Steel Cane and a 2 piece Featherstick. Length of the assembled Featherstick is around 90 cm.

On the magician's table, there is a bottle which is knotted with a silk on the top. There is also a tube which is the cover for the bottle and a cane. The magician unfastens the knot on the top of the bottle and then shows the tube completely empty to the audience and puts it on the bottle.

At this very moment, the silk is in the magician's hand. Instantaneously, the magician makes the silk vanish with his cane. Afterwards, he removes the tube from the bottle, and every body is amazingly astonished when they see the knot has been fastened to its previous top of the bottle.

Imagine you borrow a red Bic lighter, you pass it trough your fist and instantly changes to white showing your hands absolutely empty. You can change it again to red and give it to the spectator. Finally the lighter changed to white and the hand is absolutely empty.

Performer appears on stage with a black cane and twirls it in the air. He stands the cane on the floor. When he lets go, the cane stands on its own and rises up in the air following the performer wherever he goes, dancing with him. Up, down and around it goes, with no visible means of support.
