Since the vast majority of your mentalism presentations are for corporations or at the very least for people who work - everyone is familiar with business cards. And, everyone has seen multi-page business card organizers in office supply stores. Chances are you have one on your desk right now! It's the perfect solution for keeping all of your contacts in one neat, organized area. Now, it's the perfect solution for the perfect telephone routine that kills audiences and eliminates any and all suspicion. In a nut shell, Caller I.D. sets you apart from anything else out there! Don't be like every other mentalist who pulls out a phone book from the hotel room. Been there, done that! They've all seen that one. Toss out a collection of business cards and use anyone's phone? Now that's different! Want to be unique? Get Caller I.D.

Start with a deluxe, zippered, personal planner and binder - the DayRunner type that has pages retained with snap-open rings. Inside are a dozen clear vinyl pages, each holding six business cards in 3 packets, back to back, for a total of 72 cards. Every card is unique - no two have similar businesses, names, images, logos, addresses, etc.

Hand the binder to a participant who is encouraged to browse through the impressive variety of top quality business cards. You don't touch the binder again until the routine is over. Then, out of your view and from anywhere in the binder, the spectator removes two cards. After verifying they represent different companies, cities, and phone numbers, they hand one of them to a person close by. The binder is tossed to a third, completely random person of their choice.

That individual opens the binder, again - while you cannot possibly see, takes out any full page, removes all six business cards from the page and looks them over to satisfy him/herself that each one is unique - no duplicate information. Then, they discard all but two, using their own, unannounced criteria. Perhaps they prefer color printing over black and white; maybe they don't like round corners; it could be they are attracted to double-sided cards. You truly have no clue about their process of elimination; you don't even know which cards they hold.

To avoid dead time as they are narrowing their selection, you turn to work with the first two persons, each of who holds a single, freely and randomly selected card that has been kept hidden the entire time. One of them concentrates on their card's telephone number, digit by digit, including are code. You openly write numbers on a drawing pad and then ask him to read aloud the phone number on that card. The audience can clearly see that you have successfully identified all ten digits!

Turning to a fresh page in your drawing pad, you request the second helper to visualize the graphic elements on their card - colors, shapes, photos, etc. - while you doodle on your pad. Then they tell everyone what's printed on the card and your sketch matches their description of the cards they hold - inexplicit detail!

Finally you ask anyone with a cell phone to dial the number on either business card that the third spectator has randomly selected - their choice. They are to repeat whatever the individual on the other end of the call says. As the connection is being made on his own cell phone, you write furiously on your pad - turning the pages like a whirling dervish as you fill up each sheet with words, sketches and numbers. When the call is answered - the participant repeats everything he hears from the other end of the connection.

Simultaneously, you show page after page of your pad - detailing an almost word for word precognition of names, replies, comments...and even if the call is automatically answered you can still reveal info from that number's voice mail announcement!

After your card productions, use this high tech card fountain to shoot a deck of card from your top hat. The magician shows an empty frame to the audience and appears three big dices form it and again shows an empty frame to the audience and appear another three dices and he continues this work until he appears twelve big dices. A fantastic quick trick where a silk is trown on an empty frame and a dove appears.

This is an extremely effective mini illusion, easy to carry and perform, and guaranteed to make an impact on any audience.

In effect the performer places a frame with a wooden box over his assistant's head. The head is then clamped into the box and the box is turned slowly, twisting the head with it. It is turned right around and then twisted back again in the opposite direction to unscrew the head.

Finally everything is removed and displayed freely, and the assistant is completely unharmed.

You start by appearing 5 colorful bottles from an empty box. Then the magician puts 5 colorful bottles in a bigger box. And then he asks from one of audience to choose one color among the bottles.

He/She will choose a color. The selected bottle will be placed in a tube and then 4 other bottles vanishes mysteriously in the cube and magician can show an empty box to spectators. And now the selected bottle in the tube vanishes and instead a colorful silk appears.

A box is shown to be empty. Three long balloons are placed through special holes in the box so that they go right through the center of the box. A countdown ensues and all of a sudden the balloons burst and a rabbit or a load of silks and other production items appear out of nowhere inside the box! The possibilities using a rabbit are endless!

The magician or his partner take off his shirt and show it to the viewers, so it is no doubt that it is just a normal shirt. Suddenly he transforms the shirt to a cape with a different color!

The Cottage is used for appearing and disappearing things. It is operated automatically and is performed easily.

A beautiful cottage is on the magicians table. The magician can open front and back doors of the cottage so that the spectators will see that nothing is in it.

This is a great item where the magician pushes 15 swords through an assistants head.

The magician removes the front and back doors of the box and show that the box is empty. He, then, asks his assistant to come on the stage and places the empty box on his head. He pushes the swords one by one to their special places in the box.

There will be fifteen swords pushed into the assistant's head. It is so shocking for the audiences to see that the head has disappeared upon removing the doors of the box again.

What a great gag this is for any magician who wants to throw in some visual comedy. You only have to watch the short trailer to realise how commercial this is. I can definitely see family entertainers using this and getting some great reactions from the kids. Also, this is a great MC bit and perfect for the between act gag without having to do magic. Effect One: Performer shows a two-door box, which is empty. Next the magician appears a bottle from inside of it, and again shows the empty box. After which the magician continues to produce bottle, after bottle until there are six different colored bottles!

Effect Two: Magician puts all six bottles inside a bigger box. He then asks a member of the audience to choose one of the bottles; they can choose any color they like! After the bottle is chosen, the magi picks it up and puts it inside the tube. When you open the larger box, all five other bottles have vanished!

Effect Three: Now the chosen bottle is inside the tube but upon the magicians command when the tube is shown the chosen bottle is vanished too!
