Show three identical brass canisters. Unscrew the bottom showing a piece of steel inside which makes the rattle. Explain they follow the Tube with the RATTLE. Show the Tube that rattles, and mix it in with the other two. Now follow it closely as you move them around. They lose ever attempt, perform again and again! Performer wins 100% of the time.

This model of the classic Lippincott Box is made from exotic hard woods, inlaid with brass, and designed just like a miniature chest, to give you an intriguing and attractive "collector quality" prop.

Here is a sample effect with this prop. A ring is borrowed from a spectator, placed under a handkerchief, which is then given to the spectator to hold. The performer now introduces a Locked Miniature Chest, and the keys for this, which are given over to another spectator to hold.

The performer approaches the spectator holding the ring, and whips away the handkerchief. The ring has vanished.

He does not approach the chest. He asks the spectator holding it to open it and remove the contents. The spectator finds the borrowed ring in the chest, which the owner can positively identify as his or hers.

Ring Case Trick from Europe

Effect #1 The magician places a borrowed ring on top of an card case, which has previously been shown to be empty and then closed. He covers the ring with a card, flicks it with his finger and the ring magically penetrates the case, from which the magician then removes it.

Effect #2 The magician makes an imaginary toss of a borrowed ring into the card case, which has previously been shown to be empty and then closed. After the toss, the ring can be heard to rattle inside the case, and even appears from within the case when it is opened!

Each Ring Case is hand made, including a specially prepared card case (without the deck of cards), a single card, and a ring in case you don't want to borrow one from the audience.

Ring Off Spoon

We supply the teaspoon with the apparatus, but you could even use a borrowed teaspoon to perform this, making it seem completely impromptu in nature. The ring fits easily over the stem, but cannot go over the bowl of the spoon. The performer covers the ring on the spoon with a handkerchief, asking a spectator to firmly hold the stem of the spoon through the handkerchief. He gives the spectator's hand a tap, and the ring drops off the spoon. An amazing and uncanny penetration.

The magician claims that he can restore this card to its former glory with the aid of a very special and ancient and magic-endowed instrument of necromancy. The spectators clutch their handbags to their faces and peek through the gaps in their fingers. The magician goes to his pocket and produces....a stapler! He talks half the audience out of leaving before re-attaching the torn corner with the stapler. The "restored" card is signed by the spectator as proof that this miracles was witnessed by human eyes. A man in the back row cocks the hammer on a large handgun, a woman in the front is picturing the magi with an axe in his liver....before things turn violent he gathers everyone around close and with a gentle rub (ooh!) he visually heals the torn corner and hands out the card ford inspection, there is nothing to find, just the two staples which once held the card together!

Roll the Dice Card Prediction by Ickle Pickle

Effect: The magician presents a deck of cards and instructs the spectator to shuffle. After the deck is shuffled the spectator is instructed to roll the dice. Once the dice have rolled the spectator now turns the dice over and adds the numbers. After the dice are rolled one more time, the numbers are all added up. The spectator uses this number to count that many cards off the top of the deck. The last card is then predicted by the magician!
