Maxello Magic

This is a self working version of the Oil And Water effect which does not require the usual moves and sleights involved in the original effect.

The performer displays eight cards. Four of these have red soldiers printed on both sides and four of them have green soldiers on both sides. The cards are first mixed two red, two green, two red and two green. Magically they separate, so that all the red soldiers are together, and the green soldiers together.

This is repeated. Then for a climax the soldiers are mixed, alternating red, green, red, green. Once again they magically separate with all the red soldiers together, and the green soldiers together.
