A large, 7.5 inch diameter x 3.5 inch high steel bowl is displayed, resting on a tray. It is visibly filled with water. The performer covers the bowl with a large foulard, takes it front stage, and suddenly whips the foulard away by a corner, the bowl of water has completely vanished.

And no, it isn't concealed in the tray, which is a slim tray, just half an inch thick!
