The rubber bands can be examined.
You show a deck of cards completely, front and back. You also show the Lone Stranger a single card, with a different colored back from the deck. The cards are shuffled and openly spread on the table, allowing a spectator to select any card. When the spectator's card and the odd card are turned face up, they exactly match! The Lone Stranger strikes again!
When she comes over with the bill, present your credit card and point out to her the card derails: the number at the bottom, the date, the different logos etc...etc.. Now turn the card face down and give it a good shake, explain that you are mixing it.
When you turn the card back up, she'll be shocked to find out that you accidentally over-mixed it; to her surprise the contents of the card will be in total disarray!
After she gets over the initial shock, just ask her for her phone number! You won't be disappointed.
Otherwise, if you get your kicks from watching your banker bounce out of his seat, I'm sure you'll have a ball with this gimmick.
At this point, the spectator is told that they may change their mind and choose a new selection. When the spectator is satisfied with their choice, the performer begins to remove the cards from the wallet one at a time. The spectator is instructed to name their selection when it is removed from the wallet. After all five of the second set of cards are removed from the wallet there is only one card left, the performers prediction, which is a match to the spectators mental selection!
Complete with full colored grids, cards and routine.
Representing the mail-delivering owl of a young wizard, the magician shows the two cards and empty hands. Magically, the owl delivers a parchment wishing the Birthday child best wishes. The message can be substituted to fit any occasion.
Effect includes four parchment-style printed "Happy Birthday" papers and a pair of special Owl cards, plus complete instructions.
A card is selected, signed and returned to the deck. You explain that you will now find the card by cutting to it. Using a playing card like a buzz saw, the massacre begins. The card is used to saw through the entire top half of the deck, splitting the top twenty-six cards in half. The card that is stopped at, beneath all the mutilation is the signed selection.
Everything may be handed-out for immediate examination and the cards are reusable. Comes complete with a special poker-size Bicycle deck and photo-illustrated instructions.
After a moment of thought, the performer declares, The name of your card is Phil! You know, short for Phillip! The audience is understandably a bit surprised. The pack is removed and then shown to have different names printed boldly on the back of every card. When the deck is turned face up and the card named by the spectator is found, it is the one and only card named Phil!
(Not Rough and Smooth!)Historical Note: The basic plot of this routine goes back to Fred Lowe's Christened Reverse. Over the past few decades, many methods have been devised. It turns out that Trevor Duffy reinvented a version that was created by Phil Goldstein in the early 1980s, entitled Final Fred. That routine had its debut in a lecture at the 1985 FISM convention in Madrid. The issue of this prior invention has now been discussed by Duffy and Goldstein, along with the ironic coincidence of its title, and we are pleased that an equitable arrangement has been made, and this item is being marketed with Phil Goldstein's approval.

The Magician has two cards selected from a deck of cards. He tells the spectators that a lot of people ask him, "How long have you been doing magic?"
The magician then shows the spectators an old black and white photo of himself as a child. The small child, age one, is holding a playing card. The magician tells the spectators that "A picture is worth a thousand words."
He tells the first spectator that on the reverse side of this picture is another photo of me holding a face up card. The magician asks the first spectator to reveal their selection. The photo is turned over and the child star is holding a playing card. It's a Match!
The magician turns the photo face down on the table and asks 2nd spectator to reveal his selection. The magician then asks the 2nd spectator to turn the photo over. The photo has changed to match the other selected card!
