Poltergeist by Werry

The magician turns the theme of the evening's show to the discussion of spirits and the supernatural. Having done this, he introduces a pack of playing cards for someone in the audience to shuffle. A card is chosen by a spectator and returned to the deck. Another shuffle, and the deck is placed into an elegant box and then covered with a lid. Holding the box at his fingertips, the magician explains that he no longer has control over the situation. Suddenly, the lid flies off and cards start to spring out of the box all over the table! the Poltergeist had confirmed his presence and even more surprising, the top card of the remaining few in the box is the selected card of the spectator lying face up!

A needle is inserted into a tiny hole in the card case and a pencil with a tiny hole is balanced on top of the needle. The pencil can rotate freely. The cards are mixed and dealt face down around the case. The pencil starts to move upon its on and starts spinning really fast. You make absolutely no contact with the pencil or any of the set-up. The pencil is under your complete control. It slowly comes to rest, the pencil is pointing to one of the cards. The spectator is asked to name his card allowed and the card is turned over to reveal the selection!

Unlike other versions of the past, everything is completely examinable and no gimmicks, mechanical devices, nothing is found to be out of the ordinary or unusual.

Magician explains that riffling deck makes the card information rise to the top of deck. He riffles the deck, and then gives the top card to the assistant. Let's say that the top card is King of Clubs. The assistant receives the King of Clubs and looks at it carefully. When magician asks the assistant about the spectator's card, the assistant reveals it correctly - the answer is Seven of Diamonds. You may not realize its true value on the video... Silly Sack by Jim Jayes

From the creator of such favorites as Jump Ropes and Doggy Bag comes another great comedy prop for the kids' show performer-The Silly Sack.

While looking around for a small prop (rope, coin, silk, "invisible deck," etc.) the performer opens a black drawstring bag and plunges his hand all the way through the open bottom, proving it empty. (The bag could also be turned inside out.) But, as the performer pulls his hand back out of the bag, he produces the rope or silk he was looking for!

Later, after he's finished with the prop he drops it in the top of the bag and not so surprisingly, it falls right through onto the table. Despite the children's laughter, he tries again only to have it fall through again. He decides to give it one more shot, and this time the object doesn't fall straight through, but seems to have vanished inside the bag which may again be shown completely empty!

The Silly Sack is hand-made to last out of durable black velvet and measures 8.5" wide by 10" tall.

Vanishing Watch Trick with Box of Teak

The original presentation for the WATCH BOX was to borrow a Watch, which was locked by the spectator in the box. The Watch was stolen away, and reproduced from a loaf of Bread, or other similar place. The box was unlocked and shown empty. This sort of presentation can be used with any personal item, which can be uniquely identified by the borrower.

A Signed card Materializes in Between Two Kings!

A card is selected, signed and lost in any deck, two kings with joker sandwiched between them are shown placed to one side. Magician tries to find the selected card but fails. The sandwiched packet is picked up and spread once again showing just 2 KINGS and a JOKER. Without any covering, counting, turning over etc, the JOKER VISUALLY starts to change!

Its hard to believe but it changes into the SIGNED SELECTION. The spectator removes the selected card from the fan of 3 cards. The remaining kings are freely shown both sides.

Supravision, Astors Miracle No. 2

The medium (who could be your partner) is blindfolded by members of the audience in the following manner: First, two cotton-wool balls are put over his or her eyes and taped crosswise with sticking plaster. Then the eyes are further firmly blindfolded with a piece of cloth, and a second, large cloth is placed over the head. It is not a trick blindfold! The medium really can't see anything!

After this is done, two members (any!) of the audience lead the medium out of the hall and make sure that he or she is completely unaware of the goings-on in the hall.

You now hand somebody in the audience a simple wooden box and six silk scarves of different colors and tell him or her to choose a scarf, put it into the box, padlock the box and put the other scarves into his/her pocket. You now take a seat in the auditorium and sit motionless. You may also be led out of the hall, so as to avoid any contact with the medium at all. Brought back into the hall, the medium takes the box in his or her hand and immediately tells which scarf is locked in it!

Instead of silk scarves, it may be any objects at all, such as playing cards, dice of different colors, different coins borrowed from audience members, etc.! Also, the number of objects is not limited to six, but can even be higher.
