Polka Dot Shower

A black silk covered with white dots is passed through the fist. All the dots disappear leaving a plain black silk. The spots wiped off the silk are tossed up and flutter down, making an attractive display, like snowflakes. Made with specially printed pure silk, with spots and instructions.

The silk measures 31 cm x 31 cm x 49 cm.

The performer now removes a prediction from an envelope that has been in view the whole time - it states, Somehow you thought of the Four of Spades! The only card that wasn't there! The spectator is speechless. Want to know why it's called Project-X? asks the performer. The spectator nods. The performer hands the envelope to the spectator. Sympathetic Wands by Ramos

You show two regular soft-drink bottles made from glass and two normal wands. Everything rests on a nice looking tray.

Place one of the wands into one of the soda bottles and touch the wand with the other wand. Move the wand in your hand up and down. The wand in the bottle moves up and down as if connected by magnets to the other wand. (No, there are no magnets involved!)

Place one of the wands in one bottle and move the other wand in front of the other bottle up and down. It makes the same movements and moves up and down in the same way!

Something unexpected follows: After one wand has been placed in one of the bottles, the other wand is placed in the second soft-drink-bottle: Now the first wand shoots upwards as if there was not enough space for it in the bottle! The wand now levitates free inside the bottle. When you push it down, the other wand starts to levitate in the other bottle! In the end, both wands levitate inside their bottles!

At the end of this fascinating routine, you place one of the wands vertical on top of a bottle and concentrate while not making any move... the wand starts to rotate - first slowly and then faster! Take the wand in your hand and take your bow!

Is it a complicated mechanical marvel? Are wires used or is a thread running through the room? Is there a secret assistant? Nothing like that at all! The innocent-looking transparent tray contains the secret. You just have to place the wands in the bottles and everything happens nearly automatically.

X-Posed by Wayne Dobson

The performer has a spectator select and replace a card in the deck. After the card has been replaced, the performer displays a picture of a risqu flasher inside a leather window wallet. The picture is now removed from the wallet and held so that the spectator can see that there is a message written on the back. It reads as follows:

• Let your mind go blank...
• Concentrate hard...
• As quick as a flash...
• I'll reveal your card...

After reading it out loud, the performer places the picture card back into the wallet before finally turning it over to show that the flasher has opened his raincoat to reveal the chosen card. It always gets a big laugh and looks magical as well.

Amazing Birthday Bear Photo Frame, Type 1

As the audience attempt to make sense of this piece of "Modern Art", the picture visibly and instantly transforms into a perfectly legible black and white drawing. But the performer comments the picture is too drab for such an expensive frame. He waves the picture, and it is instantly colored in bright colors.

Easy to do, completely self contained and mechanical, with nothing to add or take away. Excellent for Birthday Party shows, Kid shows, or a general audience.

Fire Wallet, Standard

You may pull out the wallet from your own pocket, using the gag as an introduction to a coin or bill trick you are going to perform, following up with the coins or bill removed from the wallet. Or you may pretend to find the wallet (dropped by some one in the audience) and opening it to discover the owner!

The apparatus we supply consists of a specially gimmicked wallet. The wallet has two compartments, one fitted with the fire gimmick, and the other with compartments to hold currency notes or a couple of large coins.

Metamorpho Spots

The two silks are now placed in the can, and again removed. There, you see, the White silk dyed Black is now White, and the Black silk dyed White is now Black again! This is repeated till the audience realizes you are pulling their leg, and tell you so!

You appear hurt at this accusation of trying to deceive them so blatantly, and offer to make the transformation a little easier to follow. The silks are replaced in the can. You now pass your hand in front of the can, wiping off all the White spots. The can is now completely Black. The spots are tossed into the can. When the silks are now removed, the two silks are found to be spotted. There you see, the White silk dyed Black which is now White has the Black spots, and the Black silk dyed White which is now Black has the White spots!

A great effect, easy to do, and supplied complete with the special mechanical can, all the required silks, and routine.

Monkey Bar, Wood

Silk Streaming, Ribbon Fountain, 35 Meters

The magician produces a magic bowl from some production item. The bowl is kept on a table and short length of ribbon is pulled out of the bowl. As it is dropped to the floor, like a fountain a long colorful ribbon cascades down from the bowl. It seems that the ribbon is never ending. The speed at which it flows down is really remarkable.

Smoke Screen, Double effect

A spectator chooses a card which is then lost in the deck. The magician places the deck aside and calls attention to a glass ashtray that has been in full view at all times. Picking up this ashtray, the performer blows his breath onto it. The name of the chosen card magically appears in the condensation on the side of the ashtray!

The effect can then be repeated with the same ashtray and with a different card showing. Ideal for restaurant work. Use the ashtray in your close up routine both before and after doing the effect. Ashtray can be handled normally at all times.

Space Silks, With Silks

Show a handful of bright silks, tuck them into a clear transparent plastic Tube. The tube is OPEN at both ends. Hold the Tube between your hands and say, Watch This. As you toss the cylinder in the air, the silks VISIBLY VANISH from the Tube! Now toss the Tube out for examination!

Here is a sensational visible vanish that may be worked in any part of the program. The tube is clear plastic, 8 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches in diameter.
