The performer shows a folder with a picture of library on the front. Inside the "library are books, a table and lamp for reading, and...and...and...oops - no Bob the Book Worm! Maybe he's hiding behind some books. Meantime, the folder is laid aside and the performer shows five giant cards depicting different kinds of books and stories you can find at the library - fairy tales, history, adventure, geography, how-to books, and - wait! - here he is! - Bob the Book Worm!
But Bob is a tricky fellow, and before you know it, he has disappeared and his card is completely blank! Where is he? The kids guess, you guess, but nobody can find him until he makes his surprise reappearance which leave the children hoarse and gasping as you and Bob the Book Worm take a bow. Classic children's magic at its best!
When uncovered the rice has magically doubled in quantity, overflowing the bowl. The bowl is now emptied out, and the empty bowls are placed together again. When separated the bowls are found filled with water that is poured back and forth from bowl to bowl increasing in quantity.
These bowls are specially machine made, spun aluminum, light weight, self-contained and require no additional fake as in the old version. Approximately 3 inches high and 6 inches in diameter. Supplied with detailed instructions and presentation ideas.
This is a sample effect with this prop. The performer borrows a high denomination bill from a spectator. The spectator is asked to ensure he can identify his bill, by signing it or noting the serial number. The bill is placed under a handkerchief, and given to the spectator to hold. The performer now introduces a wooden chest which is locked. The chest is given to a second spectator to hold, along with the keys to the lock.
Approaching the spectator holding the bill, the handkerchief is whipped away, and the bill has vanished. The performer asks the spectator holding the chest to open it. When he does so, he finds inside a second smaller chest, which he lifts out. When this chest is opened, the borrowed bill is found inside.
This is just one sample routine, and many others can be performed with this versatile apparatus. The construction of the boxes is similar to the Locked Box, or Lippincott Box, using a pair of nesting Boxes. It can be adapted for most of the routines normally performed with a Lippincott Box, Locked Box, Bill Tube, Sing Sing Ring Box etc.

A sheet of paper of any size and three blank cards, of any size, are introduced. Three volunteers are asked to help with this experiment of clairvoyance. When you're done they will believe in magic. Every move is slow and deliberate. Our special gimmicks do all the work.
The first volunteer is asked to silently think of his age or the age of anyone in the room. The mentalist brings forth a red crayon. A red line is drawn across the sheet of paper approximately one third of the way down the sheet. The mentalist writes a prediction, in red, on the first card. This card is immediately set, face down, on the table or foot of the stage and will not be touched until the revelation at the end of the routine. The mentalist asks the volunteer to call out his number so it can be written on the sheet of paper. The number is written, with the red crayon, above the red line.
The second volunteer thinks of any three letter word and the mentalist brings out a second crayon & scribbles on the sheet to show that the crayon is green. The prediction is written on the second card which is set face down next to the first prediction and will not be moved until the final revelation. The green crayon is used to draw the three letter word that the volunteer now calls out. The green crayon is put away and a brown crayon introduced and is used to draw a line completing three sections to the sheet of paper.
The third volunteer thinks of the last two digits of their phone number, a prediction is made with the brown crayon. The prediction is set next to the other two. The volunteer calls out his numbers and they are written, in brown, on the sheet of paper.
Any one of the volunteers is asked to pick up the index cards and compare the predictions to what is written on the tablet. The three smaller cards each bear the exact and correct predictions of the thought of numbers and words & they are in the exact appropriate colors.
"Each time a prediction was made I used a different color to identify that number or word" states the performer. He continues "In the past I've encountered people with similar numbers, which is why it was important to use three different colors. This will prove that there could not be any confusion in my thinking. Each person had their mind read, the thought written on their own separate sheet and the different colors are used to show that each thought was specific and exact."
Points to remember:- The predictions are only written one time, without correcting them later
- Only one color is used on each card, matching the color on the large sheet
- The cards are never out of view at any time
- No stooges
- The props are above suspicion, which is a strong aspect of the secret
- The cards are never shown in a phony manner
- Only three cards are used. Nothing is added or taken away
- No other writing devices other then the crayons are used
- No flaps or mechanical devices
- Can fit in your pocket for intimate settings
- Can be used in on stage shows just as easily
- Unlike large boards that can not be examined, your predictions may be autographed and given away.

Additional information for the experts: The cards are set down immediately after your prediction so the audience knows the prediction was written before the volunteer called out his thoughts. When only one color is used per card and only written once the only explanation can be that the mentalist is indeed gifted with the powers of clairvoyance. It really is something to see.

The magician presents a blue deck of cards. The backs and fronts of the cards reveal it is a 52 card regular deck. The deck is placed face up on the table. This is the last time the magician will touch the deck. The spectator is asked to cut the deck around the mid point, and place the cut-off pile alongside the other pile. They then select one of the two piles, and the other pile is placed to one side. The magician asks the spectator to deal the cards face-up from the face-up pile, and stop at ANY card they wish. Which they do. A genuinely free choice. The selection is placed away from the rest of the deck, and the magician now takes the remaining cards and specifies that truly, the spectator had a free choice, and the card they chose isn't a duplicate of any of the other blue backed cards. However, upon turning over the selection the spectator is GOBSMACKED to see that not only is the card a red backed one, it also has their name written across it's back (or any message you whant). They suddenly feel that perhaps their free will isn't as free as they'd thought.

Imagine this!... The magician introduces a padlock, opens it, then borrows a ring from a spectator. The ring is threaded onto the loop of the lock, then the lock is snapped shut, whereupon the whole affair is covered by a handkerchief. A spectator is asked to take hold of his ring through the handkerchief, such that he is certain it is safe.
