Ssserpent Ssscroll by Brad Toulouse
Ssserpent Ssscroll by Brad Toulouse
The performer brings out a paperback book and a cloth scroll. The book can be examined and verified as being a regular book. The scroll is opened and seen to be covered with numbers, as well as arcane symbols and pictures of snakes.

The snake, the performer explains, is a mystical magickal creature, and is associated with the ability to prognosticate. Being bitten by a snake himself as a child the performer now has this ability!

Taking the paperback book between his hands momentarily, the performer seems to go into a deep trance-like state. When he opens his eyes a moment later, he writes something on a piece of paper, folds it up, and places it to the side. The performer now gives the spectator the scroll, as well as several strips of "snake skin" and five "copperheads" (pennies). Using the snakeskin and the coins, the spectator selects five numbers from the scroll. The numbers are totaled. Let's say the total is 87. The performer instructs the spectator to pick up the book, open it to page 87 and read aloud the first word on that page. Let's say the word is "excitement". The spectator is asked to open the paper and in the center the performer has written the word EXCITEMENT!

  • The book is not gimmicked in any way, use any book!
  • It is possible to repeat the effect with a different person and have a second different prediction made!
  • Spectator freely chooses the numbers on the scroll!

Comes complete with scroll, 8 "snakeskin" leather strips and instructions sheet.

Scroll Dimensions Approximately 11 inch x 9 1/2 inch (28 cm x 24 cm)
"Snakeskin" Leather Strip Length Approximately 7" (17.75 cm)

Symbolicus by Alexander De Cova
Symbolicus by Alexander De Cova

You display a big envelope with a prediction. Two spectators assist you with this experiment. Now you show a transparent clipboard with a single sheet of paper on it. On this paper are printed 25 different abstract symbols in a numbered grid. You ask one spectator to think of any uneven number from 1 to 25 (including 1 and 25). The other spectator thinks of an even number. These numbers are only thought of!

Now each of the spectators looks at the clipboard and remembers the symbol corresponding to his number. Again the spectators never name aloud their symbols and you don't ask a single question!

The prediction is read aloud: I, Mr. XXX, predict that tonight two volunteers will absolutely free and without any influence from my side decide randomly on an abstract symbols each. These two symbols will be a wave and a moon.

The two spectators indeed verify that they have been thinking of the wave and a moon - your prediction proved to be correct!

Comes complete with transparent clipboard, special grid printed on plastic-foils and detailed instructions.

Telekinetic Boxes by Astor
Telekinetic Boxes by Astor
The Magician uses a blue and a red box for this trick. The spectator can place his/her own ring into any of the boxes. The magician closes the boxes with rubber bands than the miracle happens. The spectator's ring is transferred from one box to the other within seconds.

There is also possible to place an object in each box and they just change places in a mysterious way also within seconds. Before the two object change places (e.G. A red and a blue pearl) the spectator can take the boxes in his/her own hands making sure that these objects in the boxes can not be taken out without removing the rubber bands.

This trick does not require any difficult sleight of hand so it can be learned in a very short time. There are no built in mechanics which would make possible the objects to slide out from the closed boxes. Furthermore there are no mechanics built in the boxes at all.

Note: This DVD will play on a computer based DVD player.

Zenner Tech by Mark Elsdon
Zenner Tech by Mark Elsdon
A standard pack of ESP cards is displayed to the audience, and one of each symbol is removed: circle, star, wavy lines, square and cross. The performer sticks a small white sticker to the back of each one (the spectator can check that they really are stuck) and mixes them up. The spectator freely decides which of the five symbols to draw on each card, with no forces, equivoque or other hokey magician's ploys.

One by one the cards are flipped over (the spectator can flip the cards over himself) and each card perfectly matches what is drawn on its back! Oh yeah, and the cards may be fully examined.

Zenner-Tech is a very direct and commercial ESP test. No extraneous props, no sticky cards and no sleights. It is perfect for a formal close-up or mentalism performance or as an encore piece when you need to perform a killer closer. The spectator makes all the decisions and yet the outcome is guaranteed, every time! If you want to add a stunning mental effect to your repertoire, then Zenner-Tech fits the bill.
