SMOKE RINGS is a completely impromptu, 100% examinable linking card effect which requires no preparation whatsoever. Only one card is used, nothing else. No additional gimmcks are required, your hands are clearly empty. This is anywhere, anytime magic with nothing more than a single playing card.
Any card is borrowed or freely chosen by a spectator and signed. With both hands unmistakably empty, two impromptu rings are torn from the card. Without any overt actions or suspicious cover, the two rings are magically linked together, one ring hanging from the other. Such is their linked condition that one ring must actually be torn in order to free the other - one ring is unmistakably displayed as being torn.To finish, the torn ring is completely restored and everything is handed out for examination. There is nothing to find. The rings may be kept by the spectator as a souvenir. Believe it!

Translocation is a serious routine meant for serious magicians who are willing to practice. You will require a close-up mat, four coins (such as half dollars), and an expanded shell.
A pair of cards is removed from the deck, let's say the Jokers for example. A card is freely selected and signed across the face before being lost back into the deck. The two Jokers are shown front and back, there are only two cards and they do not go near the deck. With a little flick, a face down card appears in between them. A spectator selects a card from the deck and the magician displays a small polished aluminum box. He takes off the lid and removes a small piece of clear "photographic" paper, explaining that the paper is heat sensitive.
The paper is placed back inside the box and the spectator holds the box and his chosen card between his palms. After a few moments the spectator opens his hands and may remove the lid from the box himself. Inside, he finds the paper developed with an x-ray image of both of his hands and a picture of his selected card!

The magician takes one of the 52 cards from the deck and openly slides it under the clear cellophane of the card case to protect it from outside, clothing optional forces. The two naked angels on the card are clearly visible as the spectator covers them with her warm naked hand. She waits a few seconds....then with her own fingers, slowly slides the card out from under the cellophane. One of the angles is GONE!.....leaving just a weird blank space... BOTH the angels are now joyously riding together, side by side, on the other end of the card!
