You have a pack of Bicycle Playing Cards that have a rubber band around the middle, you explain to the audience that you would like to try an experiment in Mind Reading.
So it is completely random, I will toss the deck out and whoever catches the deck will riffle through the cards and take a peek at just one card.
(This can be done for a small group of friends, a living room full of people or even on stage.) The spectator is asked to toss the deck to someone else.
That person peeks a card and again tosses the deck to someone else.
This can be done with up to ten spectators. Have everyone who peeked at a card stand up. I ask them to concentrate on their cards? I stand with my eyes closed... I ask them to project just an image of the color of their card? I look out. AHA! I see a red card, and I smile as I look out, and a Black Card, and I see a Five. I see a heart, another Heart? An even Spade, an Ace, A king, A two, A five, A Black Eight, the Ace is Black. Yes a Club, the King is Red. A Diamond. As I call out I look at the people standing.
Usually one of them will give away their card, I will look directly at them and name the card I think is theirs. I then repeat all ten cards. If you have heard your card called, please be seated.
If they all sit, (This is usually the case) I take a bow, If some are still standing, you are now in a position to look at them and with a few questions name their cards and have them be seated also.

You show a salt shaker. If you want you can pour a bit of real salt into a spectator hand. Now you pour all the salt into your fist and without any sleight the salt vanishes. You show the shaker absolutely empty, you cover it with a silk and in a few seconds you take off the silk to show the shaker again full of salt. Comes complete with instructions and routines.

Any card is freely selected, signed and returned to your deck. A picture of a matchbox is drawn on the bottom card of the deck. The matchbox is given a shake, the picture animates and the drawing of the matchbox magically opens!
But that is not all, folded up in the picture in the matchbox tray, is a playing card. Reach into the picture and visually remove the folded card leaving the tray EMPTY. This looks fantastic!

You take a blue deck out of its case and ask somebody to choose any card: the 3 of spades for example (No force!). This card is personalized with a signed sticker and is placed face down onto the table. A second card is selected (7 of hearts) and it is rubbed against the face of the 3 of spades. The black card immediately turns into the seven of hearts!
The magician then accidentally rubs the back of one of the two seven of hearts onto the sheet of yellow stickers: it then becomes yellow! The blue back and the yellow back are then rubbed against each other to get green backs but nothing happens. Well, almost! Because when the deck is spread face up, one card is reversed in the middle and it has a green back! This card is shown: it is the signed 3 of spades! The deck is finally turned face down and all of the cards have now turned green! Everything can be examined!
