Ash-Felt by Guy Bavli

You talk about the power of the flames and how images can sometimes materialize from the ashes, how the images can become really strong and powerful. Is it our minds? Or maybe our imagination? What is real and what is not?

As you explain, you proceed and hand a spectator a felt tip pen and a piece of tissue paper with the request that he will either write a number upon it if he is a business type person, or a letter if he is more of romantic. You then ask him to show the audience what he has written. When he has done this, you tell him to crumple the piece of tissue paper and place it in an ashtray. You then hand him a box of matches (or a lighter) and ask him to burn the paper until it turns to nothing but burnt ashes. You then proceed and reach into the ashes. You gather the burnt ashes and slowly sprinkle them up on the back of you hand. As you Brush off the ashes, slowly and visible, whatever the spectator wrote appears written in ashes on the back of your hand.

Astonish Mints by Shawn Ingram

The performer introduces his Astonish Mints to the audience. At first glance the Astonish Mints seem ordinary, but the magician claims that they have extraordinary powers. To illustrate the point a signed playing card or dollar bill is vanished only to reappear in the mint tin!

This is one of the finest one man floating ball effects. It enables you to float a gleaming ball very easily, and is a very baffling magic effect for the audience! The effect is that a glittering metal ball approximately 5 1/2 inch in diameter floats in all directions without any visible means of support. It floats up and down in front of a sheer, almost transparent cloth, then from one side of the cloth to the other.

Attaboy by Jack Hughes

The Attaboy is amongst the finest in apparatus, mental magic. The original concept is credited to Jack Hughes, who made several models working on the same basic priciple. This Bellboy model is based on the first and original model from which the trick gets it's name.

The apparatus resembles a cut-out of a Bellboy, with two houlettes, one at his feet, and one near his hands. The houlettes hold a deck of cards, and cut-out fronts in the houlettes enable the audience to see what is inside the houlette. A pack of cards is displayed, which may be examined and shuffled by the audience. Spectators freely select one or more cards. Cards are noted, and shuffled back into the pack. The pack is placed in the houlette at the bottom.

The cards are now taken from the houlette at the bottom, passed one at a time slowly in front of the Bellboy's eyes, and placed in the houlette on top. The spectators are invited to call Stop whenever they like. When they call stop, the card stopped at is turned around to show the face, and it is one of the selected cards. This is repeated for the other selected cards.

The trick is absolutely amazing, because there is no force of a card, and the spectators are free to stop you at any card as you slowly transfer them one at a time from the houlette at the bottom to the houlette on top. The cards stopped at are the very same cards selected by the audience, they may be signed if you so wish.

The trick is absolutely mechanical in working, and requires no palming, switches, or any elaborate sleights. The apparatus we supply stands 20 inch high, on a base measuring approximately 4 inch x 6 inch. It is constructed from plywood and solid wood, and hand painted. The base and cut-out open out for ease in transportation, with the cut-out simply plugging into the base for instant assembling. The apparatus is designed to be used with any pack of cards, in bridge or poker size. Supplied complete with instructions, here is an apportunity to get a classic prop and an excellent magic effect at a most affordable price.

As quick as you can say Houdini, the cards have transformed into a fan of JUMBO cards, more than twice the size as the original fan. The magician shows a wooden pillory and asks a spectator to come onto the stage and secure the "victims" head and hands in the pillory. He then show three swords to the audience before he pushes all three swords through the neck and wrists of the "unlucky victim". The points of the swords can be clearly seen. With a magic gesture he then removes the swords and frees his "victim" which is unharmed when leaving.
