With this trick you can escape from a padlocked chain that spectators bind you in. The escape is foolproof and instantaneous.
Complete with professional instructions, padlock, keys and chain. Guaranteed easy to do.
Performer shows a fan with a single spot on top. The fan is opened, and all the blades on the fan have a single spot on top. Fan is closed, and the performer passes his hand over the top of the fan. There are now two spots on top of the fan. When the fan is opened, there are a row of two spots along the entire fan. Fan is again closed, passed through the performer's hand, and there are now three spots on top of the fan. Fan is opened, and there are a row of three spots along the entire fan. Finally fan is closed once again, hand passed over the fan, and there are four spots on top of the fan. And when the fan is opened, there are a row of four spots along the entire fan.
This is a nice visual effect, which can stand by itself, or be incorporated with other magic effects. Use it in conjunction with some other trick, like the Metamorpho Spots or Polka Dot Silk. Or use the fan as a running gag. It is used as a magic fan for every trick to make the magic happen. After a couple of tricks the magic does not work. So you change the number of spots to increase the magic power! A few tricks later you repeat this again. With a little imagination you will be able to work this cute effect into any type of magic act.
Use it to produce a small bird, baby chick or mouse, a birthday cake, or dozens of silks and flowers, or other production items.
Well made in heavy gauge aluminum, and polished in a gleaming silver finish.
The performer shows an empty pan. A piece of flaming paper could be placed in the pan for dramatic effect, and transformed into the item to be finally produced.
The pan is covered for a instant, and when the cover is lifted a live chicken appears in the pan. This is an utility production prop, which can be used for producing small live stock or other solid loads.
A favorite with children's performers is to put in invisible ingredients and "bake-a-cake". Another very effective presentation is the Ribbon Fountain, where multicolor ribbon flows out of the pan.
This model is made from stainless steel. The pan measures approximately 6.5 inch in diameter and only 1 inch in height. The complete apparatus (with cover) measures approximately 6.75 inch in diameter and 3 inches in height (including the knob on the cover). The Chick Pan is an attractive prop and supplied complete with instructions and ideas for use. The Chick Fan Flower Bunch is a special bunch of super size spring flowers, designed to fit in the Chick Pan, and make a large production, appearing much larger than the pan.
Using any deck of cards, you introduce and assist your chick, the cutest, sneakiest card-finding fowl ever with lots of action, laughs, and a stunning payoff.
You get the detailed, fully-illustrated 20-page booklet, necessary gimmick and high-quality, imported metal chick.
Automatic in working, with a very visual design change.
We supply a professional outfit, with each stick measuring some 14 inch long. The magician displays a pair of sticks, with a cord apparently running though them. When the cord is pulled at one end, the opposite end on the second stick is pulled in, and vice versa. The audience is obviously un-impressed, till the two sticks are separated at the top, to show there is no connection between them. Again as you pull one end of the cord, the other end is pulled in, and so on. The audience will soon tell you that the cord passes through the bottom of the stick, where they are held together. Once again the sticks are separated at the bottom, and you show them both separately, with no connections between them of any sort. Inspite of this, the cords behave as one continuous length of string, with one end receding as the other end is pulled out.
This is a first rate children's item, with excellent comedy potential.
Very simple to do, with just a little practice needed for perfection. Comes complete with illustrated instructions.
The performer displays a clear clock dial with a rotating clock hand. The hand is rotated freely as the performer demonstrates that the clear sheet on which the dial is printed is absolutely solid. The hand is then set to any hour called by the spectator and a pencil or large needle with ribbon or silk is pushed through a star trap in the clock hand and through the solid sheet. It is then removed and the clock hand rotated to show that the sheet is completely solid again.
This is totally mechanical in working and can be performed no matter what time the audience call out.
The performer removes his neck tie, or you may borrow one from someone in the audience. It is examined, then coiled and placed on a flat tray. As the performer whistles a tune, or he can have a spectator play a flute, the tie becomes animated. The broad end of the tie rises like a cobra's hood, crawling higher and higher, till it is over a foot above the coil. The tray is turned side ways, and you have a perfect replica of a cobra, with the broad end like the hood, and the narrow end hanging down like a tail. A few magic gestures, and the hood sinks down. The tie is removed from the tray, and tossed out for examination, or returned to the owner. The tray is shown empty, and placed aside, as you bow and collect your well deserved applause.
This version uses no threads, and requires no set up or special practice, other than for an effective presentation. Try it before an audience and we guarantee it will be a permanent feature in your act.
The instructions include THREE different routines that Paul uses himself in different performing situations including his stand-up mentalism routine, his 'comedy bill in lemon' routine AND a great routine for walk-about.
ROUTINE ONE: A husband and wife are brought onstage. Her finger ring is borrowed and locked on to the special ctyptex word lock which is held by the husband. Magician brings out Dan Brown's book The Da Vinci Code and has her look at the first word on a chosen page. She is asked to focus on the word and send her thoughts to her husband. Three times she tries to send her word and each time the situation gets funnier as he doesn't receive it. Finally, the lady tells her husband the word and he then uses it to unlock the secret and get his wife's ring back.
ROUTINE TWO: A ring is borrowed and locked on to the special lock. Five envelopes are produced, one contains the secret code to open the special word on the lock. After some byplay the last envelope left is the one containing the secret. Again, this routine is tied in with Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code and is very topical. Perfect for more intimate close-up and parlor settings in a private home.
ROUTINE THREE: Comedy bill in Orange routine as used by Paul Romhany in his cruise ship act on stage.
WALK-ABOUT ROUTINE: Use your own business cards to unlock the secret. Not only an amazing effect but a great way to hand out your business cards and something the spectators won't forget.
PLUS a BONUS section with ideas by Nicholas Einhorn, TC Tahoe, Matthew Johnson and Wayne Rogers.
Comes complete with the special lock needed for this routine and updated instructions with Paul's own versions for close-up, walkabout and stage performances.
Magician shows both hands empty, he picks up a large Champagne Bucket from his table. Performer now proceeds to pluck coin after coin from the air. Coins here, coins there, coins everywhere.
From a spectator's ear, nose, pocket or even the spectator himself can catch a coin from the air. Morrissey Magic manufactures the FINEST COIN PAIL IN THE WORLD for this outstanding classic of magic.
THE MISER'S DREAM. And with only a minimum of practice you master it, due to the clever construction of the apparatus. The Professional Coin Pail is made in aluminum, highly polished. The handles are similar to Kellar Coin Catchers (in an inverted position). Designed exactly like the pail used by the world famous coin manipulator FRAKSON. Frakson used this pail for over 40 years in his professional nite-club act.
An important part of any good Coin Pail is the sound. With this pail the coins can be heard in the largest hall, nite-club or auditorium.
BUFFED, POLISHED and LACQUERED OUTSIDE.This color changing effect can be repeated if you wish. Finally a cap is placed over the tube to extinguish the flame. When the tube is now lifted, the candle has transformed to a flower bouquet.
Besides the effect above, you could also use the same apparatus for performing the standard Candle To Flowers effect, where a lit candle covered with a tube changes to a bouquet of flowers. Complete with powder coated non rusting metal props as above.
Size of the box is: 4.25 X 4.5 X 4.25 Inches (10.5 X 11.5 X 11 cm) Size of the Rubik is: 3.5 X 4 X 4 Inches (9 X 10 X 10 cm) The Box and Die are made of quality wood.
The magician can tell the color of the wand handed to him behind his back. This can be repeated as often as you like. Wands are molded in high impact plastic, and measure approximately 4 inch long, and 0.3 inch in diameter.
The performer displays a box full of Multicolor Crayons. He flicks the box towards some prop, and all the crayons become white, while the prop is colored in a rainbow of colors.
You could also just as easily work the effect in reverse, and start with a box full of white crayons, which instantly becomes multicolored.
We supply you the special box of crayons ready to work. Although not a complete effect, this is an excellent bit of business to use with Coloring Books, Instant Art and Color-It pictures, Silk Dyeing effects, Chameleon Streamers, Flash Dye Silks etc.
The box exactly matches our Crayon Vanishing Box, and the two can also be combined to transform a box full of white crayons to multicolor ones, then have all the crayons subsequently vanish.
This Command Light is fitted with a high frequency switching receiver, along with a cigarette packet size transmitter to control the lighting action from your pocket.
There have been other similar effects in the past, (Beam Shot, Laser Light, Spook Light etc.) involving magnets and reed switches, where a torch magically lights under your control to reveal a selected card, or as a lie detector, and so on. You could easily perform any of these effects, without the need to be glued in the vicinity of the torch.
For the purveyor of Bizarre Magic, the torch could be a remnant from a mining accident, or a flood, or a shipwreck in the Bermuda Triangle, which took place on this day at this time, exactly so many years ago. A sort of impromptu Seance produces a flashing S.O.S. from the torch held by a "psychic" spectator, covered under a handkerchief. Its uses are limited by your imagination, - we give you some suggestions to start you off.
Supplied complete and ready to work, with all requirements.
The cube can be handed over for examination, and the spectator will find its slides freely, and there is no way it can be made to stop on the string.
