The METAL spoon has a bite taken out of it!
Can be examined before & after the show.
Plastic cable ties (the type police use to subdue criminals)are examined. These ungimmicked "plasti-cuffs" are strapped around the performer's thumbs by a spectator.
NO crossing of thumbs, bending them down or any of the usual stuff. This is as legit in appearance as you can get.
Still, the performer's tied arms penetrate rings, chairs, poles, people - you name it.
Kenton applies his novel and original concepts to the thumb tie problem and the results are startling. As you would expect, ample psychology and suggestion are examined with fine precision.
Black Tie is for professionals. Kenton gives precise details of his secret methods and psychology. You must be able to create your own routine. Basic texts on magic can supply such routines if you do not know any. Kenton does NOT give complete routines for you to copy.
But all who wish to learn the real inside work of Kenton's original thumb tie, how to perform it, how to use Kenton's various options, what to keep in mind as you perform thumb ties... all of this and much more is here.
This is NOT the same old thing. Penetrations can be made visually. Yet you are seen to be bound. Your thumbs are NOT in two loops - but one. Just like real-life police ties.
Even though spectators see your thumbs are being "cut into by the cable" you may instantly release yourself... Even if you have never been able to do any kind of thumb tie before.
Nothing to hide, add or take away. The cables are normal. You need nothing but these cables and Kenton's secret work.
You receive every nuance as used by Kenton and other famed magical personalities on stage and television, in over 35 pages with clear illustrations.
Includes several practice ties so you may begin right away.
Docc Hilford says: "They'll remember you for THIS one. It is a real classic and an honest to goodness breakthrough".
Upon untying the rope, the volunteer finds that his celebrity date is no longer in the stack of cards. The magician believes he may have the answer. He digs deep in to his pocket and pulls out his wallet. He opens it and pulls out the missing celebrity card!

Absolutely stunning magic.
Remove a bunch of silks from your pocket, or produce them from your favorite production item. Gather these silks together, and from between the folds of the silks you magically PRODUCE the bottle!
You use any bottle, and the gimmick makes it easy. This is a great gimmick for performing on stage or parlor.
And yet you are able to have almost perfect vision.
The performer produces a fan and proceeds to fan some item, explaining that it must be fanned in order to operate properly. He then hands the fan to the "victim" selected from the audience, and tells him to be sure to keep fanning. As the spectator takes the fan and attempts to open it, the fan opens up into separate segments and the spectator finds it impossible to do anything with it. The more he turns the fan the more it becomes confused. The performer then takes it and with a few twists it again becomes normal. However when ever any one else attempts to use it, the fan falls apart again.
Made in non rusting metal and cloth, this is a prop that can be a riot of laughs with the right handling.
A magician takes a ring from a volunteer and puts it into a container of bubble solution to clean it. He blows bubbles in the air to show it is a real container of bubbles. While the bubbles fly, the magician examines each bubble, hoping to see the ring.
Finally, the magician uses the bubble-wand to burst a bubble and catch the ring on the wand! The only way to get the ring off the wand is to use a knife or scissors!
Perform again and again!
Supplied complete.
As the magician is pattering about baking a cake in a hat he has apparently forgotten that the pan is out among the audience. The forgetful magician starts to pour flour, baking soda, and salt into the hat. He then adds milk and eggs and finishes by starting a fire in the hat!
There it is blazing away when suddenly the magician realizes that he has forgotten the pan. He grabs the pan and slaps it into the hat to put out the fire. He then tells the audience they should have let him know sooner. The hat must be an awful mess now, but incredible as it seems, when the hat is turned over and the pan removed there is a delicious cake inside of the pan! The hat is returned to the owner UNHARMED, AS GOOD AS NEW.
The DELUXE CAKE IN HAT PAN is manufactured in aluminum to MORRISSEY SPECIFICATIONS. One piece construction, no solder, no seams, cannot rust, cleans easily, with instructions.

A different type of telephone book routine. Two years in development and worth the wait!
What would make the perfect telephone routine?
Since the vast majority of your mentalism presentations are for corporations or at the very least for people who work - everyone is familiar with business cards. And, everyone has seen multi-page business card organizers in office supply stores. Chances are you have one on your desk right now! It's the perfect solution for keeping all of your contacts in one neat, organized area. Now, it's the perfect solution for the perfect telephone routine that kills audiences and eliminates any and all suspicion. In a nut shell, Caller I.D. sets you apart from anything else out there! Don't be like every other mentalist who pulls out a phone book from the hotel room. Been there, done that! They've all seen that one. Toss out a collection of business cards and use anyone's phone? Now that's different! Want to be unique? Get Caller I.D.
Start with a deluxe, zippered, personal planner and binder - the DayRunner type that has pages retained with snap-open rings. Inside are a dozen clear vinyl pages, each holding six business cards in 3 packets, back to back, for a total of 72 cards. Every card is unique - no two have similar businesses, names, images, logos, addresses, etc.
Hand the binder to a participant who is encouraged to browse through the impressive variety of top quality business cards. You don't touch the binder again until the routine is over. Then, out of your view and from anywhere in the binder, the spectator removes two cards. After verifying they represent different companies, cities, and phone numbers, they hand one of them to a person close by. The binder is tossed to a third, completely random person of their choice.
That individual opens the binder, again - while you cannot possibly see, takes out any full page, removes all six business cards from the page and looks them over to satisfy him/herself that each one is unique - no duplicate information. Then, they discard all but two, using their own, unannounced criteria. Perhaps they prefer color printing over black and white; maybe they don't like round corners; it could be they are attracted to double-sided cards. You truly have no clue about their process of elimination; you don't even know which cards they hold.
To avoid dead time as they are narrowing their selection, you turn to work with the first two persons, each of who holds a single, freely and randomly selected card that has been kept hidden the entire time. One of them concentrates on their card's telephone number, digit by digit, including are code. You openly write numbers on a drawing pad and then ask him to read aloud the phone number on that card. The audience can clearly see that you have successfully identified all ten digits!
Turning to a fresh page in your drawing pad, you request the second helper to visualize the graphic elements on their card - colors, shapes, photos, etc. - while you doodle on your pad. Then they tell everyone what's printed on the card and your sketch matches their description of the cards they hold - inexplicit detail!
Finally you ask anyone with a cell phone to dial the number on either business card that the third spectator has randomly selected - their choice. They are to repeat whatever the individual on the other end of the call says. As the connection is being made on his own cell phone, you write furiously on your pad - turning the pages like a whirling dervish as you fill up each sheet with words, sketches and numbers. When the call is answered - the participant repeats everything he hears from the other end of the connection.
Simultaneously, you show page after page of your pad - detailing an almost word for word precognition of names, replies, comments...and even if the call is automatically answered you can still reveal info from that number's voice mail announcement!
Caller I.D. comes with a quality Day-runner-style zippered binder, the pages to hold more than six dozen professionally designed and printed business cards, pen, calculator, full DVD instructions and awesome 'secret something' that makes it possible.
You supply the pad and audience - they supply the standing ovation!
NOTE: Because Caller I.D. uses U.S. phone technology; this product is not recommended for use outside of the U.S. and Canada.
Introducing us to his line of Hand-Made, Magic-Themed Sculptures. Here we have a soda can sculpted into a traditional classic magic trick called Card Stab. Own a unique piece of art. Soda Cans may vary.
Introduction by Can Man:
I started carving Can Man in 1994. One day I looked at a can and wondered what could be sculpted out of it. I had seen airplanes molded from cans and thought the soda logos made a very colorful sculpture. However, I wanted to think outside of the box, or can in this case. My first attempt was to cut out a piece from the can that was already in the shape I wanted to see. However, the first attempt came out looking like a very awkward stick figure. In fact, people that saw it had to be told what they were looking at. As I thought about my first attempt, I realized I could cut out a stick figure, keep it attached to the can, and then mold the figure like a child's bendy figure toy. Eureka - Can Man was born.
Dimensions approximately 8 1/2 inch x 2 1/2 inch (21.59 cm x 6.35 cm)

The magician displays a fold flat decorated tube with three large holes on two sides. The tube can be very freely displayed, then three large silks are passed through the holes in the sides. The tube is turned to display the silks fill the entire inside of the tube. A large lit candle (which could also be examined) is now passed through the tube. It seems impossible this can go through without burning the silks. Yet when the silks are removed, they are found to be totally unharmed. This works differently to the usual penetration effects, and you will like the simple mechanism that makes the effect possible.
We supply you the special decorated laminated tube, complete with the three large silks, and full working instructions. You can use any long candle (fancy or plain), as there is nothing tricky about this.
At this very moment, the silk is in the magician's hand. Instantaneously, the magician makes the silk vanish with his cane. Afterwards, he removes the tube from the bottle, and every body is amazingly astonished when they see the knot has been fastened to its previous top of the bottle.
The cane is made of aluminum. The bottle is made of metal and the tube is plastic.
