Spectator #2 then takes a second deck of cards and deals them one at at a time into the performer's hands. The second spectator stops dealing wherever he chooses and sets a card aside.
Spectator #3 then reaches into the performer's pocket where he finds and removes a single card. Other than this card, the pocket is completely emtpy.
Incredibly, all three cards match!! The spectator is left saying, "No Way!"
The audience impact is incredible. Includes everything you need...and no sleights required!
Wrapping rubber bands around the deck you toss it to an audience member across the room and ask them to peek at any card. The deck is then passed to another person to do the same. Without any questions you name their selected cards.
Finally you ask two people to join you on stage. Removing the rubber bands from the deck you hand half the deck to each spectator and ask them to place the cards inside their pocket. The two spectators reach inside their pockets and remove any card and place it in another pocket, without looking at it. You write something on a piece of paper and hand it to an audience member. Both of the unknown cards are removed and named out loud for the first time.
Your prediction is an EXACT MATCH!

The spectator is asked to read the eye chart on the case. it now reads THE CARD YOU SELECTED IS Every letter has rearranged itself in a BLINK!
Slowly you turn the case around, THEIR CARD IS ON THE BACK OF THE CASE!
Looking for that PERFECT Closer for your Ambitious Card routine? Don't look further: This is the ULTIMATE Ending- An ending that makes sense!
WITH Step by Step DVD.
The PERFECT ending for the Ambitious card. What exactly is OutCased?
You can say that OutCased is the Ambitious Card routine done INSIDE the card box!
After your ambitious card routine, the signed selection is (again) lost in the middle of the deck. Then the cards are placed back inside the card case. A rubber band is wrapped around the case width wise. You state that the signed card will jump back to the top of the deck only, INSIDE the card case, with just a shake.
So you shake the card case again, only to find that this time the spectator's selection became SO ambitious, that the card visually penetrates the card box!
The signed card is now on the OUTSIDE of the card case UNDERNEATH the rubber band! The card is removed from underneath the rubber band, and of course the spectator can keep it as souvenir.
Insanely visual, eye-poppingly magical, Peter Eggink has created a sensational ending for The Ambitious Card!
David Acer That's @@!!! **outrageous!
David Regal I can't imagine a better way to end an Ambitious Card routine.
Andrew Mayne OutCased both punished and delighted my tiny little monkey brain.

Since the great Al Baker many master magicians like Dai Vernon, Edward Victor, Ed Marlo, Ross Bertram, Finn Jon and many more have worked and performed some version of this classic, but this is the epitome.
The magician places the deck on the palm of his hand. Waving the other hand above it, the cards begin to move forth and back in a weird way, cutting themselves and leaving a card protruding from the deck.
The spectator can remove this card and verify that it is his card. The performer repeats the same effect with the second card and this time it is again the exact card that the spectator has selected a moment ago. Immediately the performer returns the deck to the owner. The deck may be borrowed from a spectator.
You can perform it under any lighting condition. Requires no set up. There is no wax, blue tack or similar involved. You don't add any card to the deck The effect is performed with two cards, one at a time. If you have the gimmick in your pocket you are always ready to perform it. You can return the deck immediately to the spectator without any tricky move.
A deck of cards is now introduced, and a spectator freely selects a card. The card can be signed if you wish. Now performer places the deck of cards for a moment on the picture, and a reflection of the deck magically appears in the glass. Performer then asks the spectator to command his selected card rise from the picture of the deck. It does! And it's the same signed card.
Easy to do with the special glass picture supplied, use any cards, this packs flat, and provides as much surprise and entertainment as any rising card routine.
After a moment of thought, the performer declares, The name of your card is Phil! You know, short for Phillip! The audience is understandably a bit surprised. The pack is removed and then shown to have different names printed boldly on the back of every card. When the deck is turned face up and the card named by the spectator is found, it is the one and only card named Phil!
(Not Rough and Smooth!)Historical Note: The basic plot of this routine goes back to Fred Lowe's Christened Reverse. Over the past few decades, many methods have been devised. It turns out that Trevor Duffy reinvented a version that was created by Phil Goldstein in the early 1980s, entitled Final Fred. That routine had its debut in a lecture at the 1985 FISM convention in Madrid. The issue of this prior invention has now been discussed by Duffy and Goldstein, along with the ironic coincidence of its title, and we are pleased that an equitable arrangement has been made, and this item is being marketed with Phil Goldstein's approval.
"It fits in my wallet and is with me at all times. I really like the way Rodger thinks! Play Time is a keeper." - Stephen Bargatze
"Thanks Rodger, your 'Play-Time' is my new favorite trick to carry in my pocket." - Mac King
The Magician has two cards selected from a deck of cards. He tells the spectators that a lot of people ask him, "How long have you been doing magic?"
The magician then shows the spectators an old black and white photo of himself as a child. The small child, age one, is holding a playing card. The magician tells the spectators that "A picture is worth a thousand words."
He tells the first spectator that on the reverse side of this picture is another photo of me holding a face up card. The magician asks the first spectator to reveal their selection. The photo is turned over and the child star is holding a playing card. It's a Match!
The magician turns the photo face down on the table and asks 2nd spectator to reveal his selection. The magician then asks the 2nd spectator to turn the photo over. The photo has changed to match the other selected card!
Rodger Lovins has been creating magic for over 30 years and this may well be his ultimate creation. Don't pass this one up!
