The magician riffles the deck of playing cards to the audience, the viewer says stop. The audience remembers the card. Immediately the decked is searched by the audience for their chosen card. It disappears from the deck and appears quickly onto the tie of the magician. This effect is based on the transformation of the tie, without the change. The playing card appears right on the tie. Card Rise Chest

A simple and easy to use rising card effect, with a much stronger visual impact than many other rising card effects.

The performer has one or more cards selected from an examined and shuffled deck. The selections are free and fair, no forces and the cards can be signed if you wish. The selected cards are replaced and shuffled into the deck. The deck is placed in a small chest, and the lid closed. The spectators call out their cards, one at a time. The performer gestures hypnotically! Eerily the lid of the box rises. Then the selected card rises from the box. It is removed, and the signature verified. The box is closed, and the experiment repeated for the next selection.

A card is selected (say 5D) from a regular red deck, it is signed and placed into the center of the deck. They actually see the 5D going into the deck, no control etc.

You remove a blue backed card from your pocket it has a large shark stuck on it. You claim that this is your card shark and he will find their selected card.

Card Through Borrowed Bill

Performer freely displays a playing card and a PVC (plastic) folder to the spectators. He borrows a currency note or bill and folds it along its long edge, with one half a little wider than the other as in the illustration. He places the folded bill inside the folder with the ends projecting on both sides, and visible at all times.

He now inserts a corner of the card inside the folded bill and pushes it. The corner projects out from the top of the folder apparently penetrating right through the bill. The folder and bill are freely displayed with the card clearly penetrating through the bill. He then pushes the complete card through the bill, and out from the top of the folder.

He takes the bill from the folder and show it completely unharmed. He returns the bill to its owner who can examine it thoroughly. A very convincing penetration illusion. Complete with card, folder and detailed instructions. Use any borrowed bill.

Cards Know by Henry Evans

A spectator selects a card which is left on the table unknown to everybody.

The magician says the cards know which one is missing from the deck, and they will tell everyone. The only thing the magician must do is snap his fingers to make them "speak". He proceed to snap his fingers and spread the cards to show a card magically appearing face down in the middle. This process is repeated three times and the ace, two and three of the same suit appear. However, the four does not reveal itself when called, so the magician flips the deck over and snaps his fingers many times, spreading the deck to show all cards from 5 to King magically face up. Finally, the card which was selected in the beginning is shown to be the missing.

Cards To Flower Bags, 5 Bags

Something a little different to a take a card effect with a deck of cards. The performer opens a card case, and removes a deck of cards. He shuffles the cards, then reaches into the deck, and produces a miniature bag, bigger than the entire deck. Catch-A-Sketch by Mike Bent

The performer announces that he'd like to try an experiment, and invites a volunteer to the stage to help him. He asks her to think of a simple object. Once the picture is clear in her mind, she is asked to try to draw the object using an Etch-a-Sketch. To make it more of a challenge (and funnier), she is asked to draw it while holding it upside down. While she is doing this, the performer attempts to draw what she is thinking on a sketch pad. When she is done, the volunteer turns over her drawing to show just a random pattern of lines. She didn't do such a good job at trying to draw the object. (No one could under these conditions!) The performer shows what he drew, and the drawings match exactly! The drawing is given to the volunteer as a souvenir.Completely mechanical.

Chameleon Cards

The magician displays four cards say, AS, 2S, 3S and 4D. Three of the cards have Black spots whereas the fourth card bears Red spots. Squaring the cards in a stack he gives a tap and displays them again, the cards have changed to a run of the same suit ? AD, 2D, 3D and 4D. He turns the card faces down, mixes them, and puts them in a row over the table. He picks one card and puts it in his pocket, asking the spectators to guess the card he took. He takes the card out of his pocket and whatever the reply is, shows it is the AD. The other three cards he touches with the AD and turns faces up. Surprise, surprise, all three cards are now AD!

Chameleon Prediction Card, Bicycle, Red Back

The performer displays a prediction card. A playing card is selected from a deck, but the prediction is found to be wrong. The performer is flabbergasted - he says he will burn the wrong prediction, and try again. The card is held over a lit cigarette lighter, and visibly and magically transforms to a replica of the correct (selected) card.

Chop Card Magnetic

The Chop Card effect allows the Magician to perform some very different and offbeat magic with some cards and coins.

What we supply is half a dozen Playing Cards, one of which is a Chop Card and has a magnet concealed in it. This is an ultra thin magnet, so that the Chop Card can be very freely handled as just an ordinary playing card. You point out the angels on the back of their card as you patter about the spectator's belief in angels: "some people think angels are all around us, others do not believe in angels and cannot see them".
