With "The Shining" in your repetoire, you will be able to perform a modern & ancient prediction effect which borders on miraculous.
Consider this description:"The Shining" combines two ingenious principles and delivers a diabolical effect sure to fool magicians & laymen alike!
Professional restaurant magician Jim Pace's The Web will out impact any other effect in your repertoire. If you want to go for the jugular and take no prisoners, The Web gets a more visceral reaction than any card effect you've performed!
In fact, there are some people to whom you simply should not do this effect. For while it starts out so innocently, you end with such a startling punch!
Four blank cards are counted onto the spectator's palm-up hand. Then pictures of spider webs appear and disappear from the faces of the cards. To conclude, the spectator is asked to wave his hands over the cards. As he does, he discovers a large, realistic spider on the back of his hand! At the right time, in the right place, this receives an unprecedented response-you will make people scream!
Comes complete with special cards on Bicycle stock, adhesive, spider and detailed instructions.
Five cards are removed from an envelope. A spectator is asked to think of any one. Instantly, the thought of card vanishes from the spread and is removed from the envelope, which has been in full view on the table throughout!
As soon as they think of the card, it's gone. No sleights. All necessary cards (on Bicycle stock) and complete detailed directions included.
For the jaw-dropping climax, you slowly turn your fingers around, to reveal the skin on your thumb and finger is now blistered in the shape of their freely-chosen card! You've just given'em the third degree!
The magician questions, This one? as he shows the word THIS printed on the back of the card! But what if they had picked that card? The magician shows that now THIS is gone and THAT has appeared! But what about the other card? Now THAT is gone and OTHER has appeared! The magician then relates that spectators never pick the final card and shows that it has the word NEVER printed on the back!
Three And-A-Half of Clubs Trick The performer bets with a spectator that he can remove a card from the deck which has the same suit and exactly one-half of the value as the spectator's selection. The spectator selects, uh oh, the seven of clubs.
Imagine his suprise when you show him the three-and-a-half of clubs! Included are two, special three-and-a-half of clubs manufactured by the U.S. Playing Card Company, a die, and instructions for several effects.
This card is placed face down on the table, and the other two cards are shown and placed aside. When the odd spot card is turned face up, it is found to have changed into an entirely different card, which may be blank or with a message on it. This message may be a humorous one, or a sales pitch, or even an advertisement for your act.
Now there are only two cards-there's a 50/50 chance the spectator will find the ace! The cards are mixed, but no matter what card the spectator chooses they can't find the ace because somehow it magically changed places with the eight that was set aside at the beginning! Everything may then be fully examined.
One of Henry's most direct and visual routines. Comes with three normal Bicycle cards (uses any three cards), the necessary secret gimmicks and photo-illustrated instructions.
The basic routine has a spectator think of any card from a blue-backed deck as you insert a face-down red-backed card into the deck. When the cards are spread the red-backer is discovered directly next to the spectator's thought-of card. Not only that the face of the red-backer matches the mental selection!
Includes bonus routines Menta-Physical and White Out, which are as miraculous as the original Thunder Struck. These effects are as close to the real thing as one could possibly hope for.
You will be delighted by the miraculous impact these routines will have on your viewers. Comes with photo-illustrated instructions and a special deck of cards. Very easy to do.
A card is selected, signed, and lost back into the deck. Taking only the 4 Aces (deck discarded), you perform the cleanest of the "Twisting the Aces" routines - with the Aces reversing one by one with no false counts.
The black Aces are now placed into the card case - there is no doubt at all that they do go into the case - leaving the red Aces, "These will now magically produce your signed card." The spectator holds the red Aces but nothing happens. Or does it. On turning his two cards over he finds he is now holding the black Aces!
Finally, you tip out the cards from the card case revealing the two red Aces - but they have one card caught between them....the signed selection!
Comes complete with 8 page instructional booklet and necessary components.
The performer displays a beautiful stand, shaped like a six-pointed star. Two decks of cards are then introduced, one red deck and one blue deck. A spectator selects a deck and the magician then removes three cards as his predictions. The cards are placed on the tips of the star with one empty tip between each card...backs to the audience. Three cards are then freely selected from the deck of contrasting color and placed on the other three tips of the star...faces to the audience. The performer gives the star a spin as he turns it around...and as the star comes to a stop we see the impossible...all three of the magicians predictions match the selections!
Comes complete with the expertly machined stand built to last a lifetime, two decks of cards and complete instructions.
The spectator may then open the box which has been resting on the table, removes their signed, folded card and may examine everything!
Includes box and detailed, photo-illustrated instructions.
A spectator mentally selects a card, but before the spectator makes his selection, the magician sets a prediction card face down on the table.
Once the spectator is satisfied with his selection the magician turns his prediction over to reveal a perfect match!
