This is a completely self working item, which you can perform, without even knowing how or why it works. The performer displays a "chart" with over a dozen different pictures or designs on it. A spectator mentally thinks of any design. There are no forces, and the item can be repeated with a different design at every showing. A few more cards are now displayed. These have some of the designs on them. They are punched like the computer cards used to be when there were no PCs in every home! These cards have an OK and NO printed along their edges. The spectator is asked to arrange these cards in a pile. If his design appears on the card, it is placed with the OK to the top. If is doesn't appear on the cards, it is placed with the NO edge to the top. The magician can then instantly name the selected design. Or if you wish, you can have another spectator reveal the selected design.

There are hundreds of tricks using the paddle move, and the Jumping Peg Paddle is one of the oldest and most effective.

he performer displays a small bat or paddle with three holes going through it. A piece of match stick is pushed through the hole in the middle, and the paddle shown freely on both sides to show it goes through the hole in the middle.

In an instant the stick jumps to the hole on top. Paddle is again shown on both sides, and a spectator can be invited to pull out the stick from the hole on top, and again push it into the hole in the middle. In an instant the stick jumps to the hole at the bottom.

You can make the stick jump from hole to hole, top to middle, or middle to top, or middle to bottom, or bottom to middle etc. as often as you like, making your routine as long or short as you wish. The paddle is shown on both sides at any point.

Although not a new effect, this is an excellent one, and we have made it in a quality and finish that does justice to this wonderful pocket trick. The paddle is made from almost un-breakable plastic measuring 4.5 inch long and 0.25 inch thick. The edges of the holes are coloured in different colours to create an additional impact of the stick jumping from one hole to the other.

Jumping Spot Paddle is very easy to do, and a trick you can carry in your pocket, ready to perform at any time. It comes to you complete with full illustrated instructions, including the paddle move.

The magician shows two small bats or paddles. One of these has a spot on it and the other is blank. Both sides of the paddles are shown, one being completely blank and one having a spot on each side. With a magic gesture the magician produces a spot on the blank paddle. Now one side has a blank, and the other side has a spot. Then he produces a second spot on the opposite side of the paddle, so that both paddles now have a spot on each side. He now causes the spots to jump from one paddle to the other. One of the spots jumps, and there are two spots on one paddle, and none on the other.

This is repeated with the spot on the other side as well, so that one paddle has two spots on both sides, and the other is blank on both sides. The spots can be made to jump from paddle to paddle as often as he wishes. Finally the routine ends with one spot each on one side of both paddles, and two spots on the opposite side of on one paddle.

The paddles can be handed out for examination if you wish. The apparatus supplied consists of the two paddles, with full instructions.

A pocket gag.
The spectator selects a card, and the magician states that he has a matching card in his pocket. As he begins to remove the card, it appears to be the three of hearts. The spectator says that the chosen card was not the three but the eight of hearts. The magician continues to remove the card, which is longer than a normal card. When the card is removed from the pocket, the spectator can see that it is the eight of hearts.

The original Phantom Cigarette is one of the classics of magic. In the original effect, performer pantomimes rolling a cigarette, and places the invisible cigarette between his lips. He removes a match box, strikes a match and lights the invisible cigarette. When the cupped hands with the match are drawn away, a real lit cigarette is seen to have materialized.

In this new version of the effect, we have completely eliminated the visible match box. This makes for a much cleaner and more magical effect. In this version, performer reaches under his coat, and produces a single lit match at his finger tips. He lights an invisible cigarette between his lips with this match, cupping his hands over his lips for an instant as one would normally do to light a cigarette. When the hands are moved away a real lit cigarette is seen to have materialized. We supply the required gimmicks, and detailed instructions, which make this easy to perform.

This is a cute pocket trick and the effect is similar to the Hot Rod. A small stick is shown that has six different colors on both sides. Someone chooses a color. The stick is passed through the performer's fist and the entire stick has now changed to the chosen colour. The stick is again freely shown all around.

It is a very easy to do trick and requires a simple move well known to most magicians.

This is a trick where the magician or mentalist predicts something that will happen in the immediate future. Some colored chips or tokens are given to a spectator.

A Prediction is written and given to another spectator for safe keeping. The spectator is asked to stack the chips, in any order, following a simple process. When the stack is complete, the prediction is found correct, the color of top and bottom chips of the stack match the prediction made by the performer.

The effect can be repeated as often as you wish, with different results at every repetition. A very clever, self working effect, that you can perform as soon as you read the instructions.

Performer shows three separate pieces of rope each of a different size. There is a very short piece, a medium size piece, and a long piece. The performer folds the three pieces and when the ropes are opened out again all three pieces are seen to be of the same size.

A perfect illusion. If required the ropes can again be restored to their original different sizes and tossed out for examination.

In effect, 2 poker chips with black spots on both sides change to chips of four different color spots, and everything can be examined. So simple, so effective, it's "magic". Comes complete with everything required, ready to use, and very easy to do.

The Ring Vanishing Gimmick is a novel and off beat gimmick for vanishing a borrowed ring from a glass of liquid. A ring is borrowed and dropped by a spectator into a glass of Milk or Ink, or any other opaque liquid. The glass is handed over to the spectator. However, the ring is immediately in your possession, and can be introduced into a loaf of bread, ring box, nest of boxes or any other such apparatus for later re-production. When the spectator pours out the liquid, he find the ring has vanished and it is later re-produced in a surprising manner.

The Ring Vanishing Gimmick is made of Metal and very easy to use. It comes to you complete with instructions, and some novel presentation ideas to give you a lot more entertainment value than the very modest price we charge for this.

The performer displays a large imitation bill freely on both sides. The bill is folded in half, and clearly ripped through the middle with a pencil. The two halves of the bill are clearly displayed, cut and separate. The performer now places the two halves together, and magically welds them. When the bill is snapped open, it is completely restored once again, and can be freely shown front and back.

We supply you the play money bill ready to work. The trick is very easy to perform and with a few handling trials will prove to be a quick but very mystifying bit of magic.

The magician displays two pieces of rope. When he stretches his hands, the two pieces magically blend into one long piece. Then the rope is shown to have 3 ends, then four ends. Finally a knot is tied in the middle of the rope, and it is tossed up. The knots have multiplied to 3 knots along the rope.

The performer plucks a rose from his lapel. Instantly and visibly it transforms into a garland, which can be placed around the neck of an assisting spectator or guest of honour. A very visual and effective piece of magic, and very easy to do with the special apparatus supplied.

A marked coin in placed under a handkerchief, over a glass of water. Spectator feels coin and drops it into glass. Handkerchief is removed, but coin has vanished. The same marked coin is then produced from performer's pocket. A mystifying effect! Simple to do.

For those that like packet card tricks, this is a novel effect with four cards. The performer displays four cards of the same value, and four different suits, say the six of Spades, Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds.

Two cards of the same color are clearly shown, say red, and placed in performer's pocket, while spectator holds the other two, obviously black. Instantly the cards change places, with the black cards emerging from performer's pocket, while the cards in spectator's hand are now black.

Another novel card trick you can carry around in your pocket and entertain your friends with, anywhere and at any given moment. You show 3 cards which are fanned to display two black picture cards, with a red spot card, The Three of Diamonds between them. The cards are turned face down, and a spectator asked to pick out the odd spot card which is the 3 of diamonds. The spectator obviously picks out the card in the middle. The other two cards are turned face up and seen to be the two black picture cards. Now for the climax, when the spectator turns over the card in his hand it is seen to be a TREE OF DIAMONDS. No matter how many times the magician empties this cute country-style jug, it allways seems to refill itself. Fill it with water, milk or any other liquid. Even after tapping out the last drop of liquid and inverting the jug completely, it continues to fill itself.
